I thought I'd share a technique I use when painting anything. Instead of using a palette that I'll need to wash as soon as Im done, (not one of my strong suits, just look at the condition of my brushes for evidence) I use old egg cartons! They are perfect, with 12 wells for paint and the flat side that is sublime for mixing. When Im all done, I just throw the whole kit and kaboodle away.
