Kimono necklace

last night - I made a necklace. This is a style that was popular in the 80's and seems to be making a re-appearence on the fashion front. It is just a tube of fabric with beads inserted into it and then separating beads pulled over the fabric.

I was experimenting with it to see if it would look good with kimono fabric. I figured it would either look really fugly or really cute. Thankfully, I think it is the latter!

Unfortunately - I ran out of the small small silver beads I was using so I had to substitute with other shapes. Tonight - I am heading to the store to fix that problem!

Please pardon the deathier than thou look....I was tired and unwell last night along with bedhead and no make-up. I feel sexy. not! :P
