craftgrrlI'm making my boyfriend a felt book for his 23rd birthday.
C ats (we both adore cats)
O cean (90% of our dates over the past 3 years have been to the beach)
L ove
I nsect (we have this odd obsession with pretending to bees. Oh yes, we're odd ones)
N ut (Long story but the short version is that acorns are our symbol of love)
I haven't decided if I'd rather turn it into a book or a wall hanging. If I were to turn it into a wall hanging I'd attach the "pages" like this with ribbons running along the back:
All the painted parts kinda suck because I had to use a bobby pin to paint them (my smallest paint brush was still too big).
