I've been making loads of things in the last week or so, and these are just a few of them.
First, I made a few lined cosmetics-type bag. I got the tutorial off craftster.org through the memories on here, and I think they came out quite well, even though it's completely hand sewn and I'd never tried using a zip before.. This is my favourite – red zip, parrot fabric, green lining:

I also tried my hand hollowing out a book, because I've always wanted to. There's a few tutorials in the memories, but I did it my own way – by pumping cylinders of silicone into each corner, which dries hard, and then washing the inside with PVA, and decoupaging over the edges with the old pages of the book. I left a few pages over at the top, so that I could stick it down properly without any edges showing, and I think it came out quite well—but if I do another one then I've got an idea of how I'd do it differently.

I've also been making a load of boxes. They're entirely folded, no glue. I started making them out of old xmas cards, like the ones at the bottom of the photo below, and then started making a few out of coloured paper.
The beaded detail on the top two boxes here is done on some left over wire, and threaded through the top of the box and folded over, but then lined- so it doesn't use any glue and it can't be seen from the inside.

This is one of my favourites, cos I did it completely randomly with leftovers:

This one is made out of an old OS map that's 20 years out of date, and the gold base was once a chocolate box. I made up a template for 7-petal rosettes which I might stick on packaging—made out of old magazines and stuff.

Finally, I made a birthday card for one of my friends, entirely recycled:

The front is just stuck on, and the painting is a cut out from a magazine.
