Earring Making Fool!
Nov. 15th, 2005 12:29 pmI have been so busy making earrings, 25 pairs in 2 weeks! Doesn't sounds too impressive? Well, I made the focal beads, too! These earrings were made for a swap I signed up for on PCC. Have a look-see under the cut!
These were made from premade canes. I don't DO canes..... yet! I wanna call them "Soccer Moms" cuz they are so matchy-matchy.

Also made from premade canes, I am calling these "Good morning, Good night"
Made from a mold, but hand painted by Moi. I am sending these to the swap mistress as a gift.
Blue clay dusted with blue pearl-ex. Very simple, yet pretty.
Almost the same, but I added a white swirl on these and dusted them with white pearl-ex.
I have painted on polyclay a few times so the idea wasn't new to me, but I was sooooo very inspired by dolphin_daze's (sorry, I don't know how to link names) work and painted faces, I thought I would give it a try. By the time I got to the third one, I was pretty much reaching for ideas so I glued a gem on the face and called it good. :P
Moon men, white pearl clay, dusted with pearl-ex, baked and then antiqued with black paint for accent.

Moon goddesses, Pearl clay, shadowed with pearl-ex,pink and blues
Mokume Gane done with pewter and pink-gold Lumiere paints
Be kind, I am new to beading and bead making. I made the beads with the Amaco bead maker and I was downrite giddy with the results!
