finally finished!

craftgrrlso i finished my first mixed media collage tonight. i really wish i would've taken art classes in school to learn all these cool things!
this was made for my best friend who loves music, he plays bass guitar :)
it's acrylic paint on canvas. then i decoupaged some sheet music (rolling stones) and guitar picks. i drew tails on them with paint pen to turn them into music notes. wrote some lyrics in Sharpie with his favorite george harrison song (beware of darkness)...broke a 78 record and glued it on top of everything...finished the record with pastels...then put 4 guitar strings (i didn't use bass strings cuz they're expensive!) over that to make the record into a guitar. i attached the strings with staples..kinda lame, but glue wasn't working.
anywho..here's the finished project! :)
