cheap and pretty candles...

I am absolutely in love with candles, but work on a limited budget. A few weeks ago I picked up a couple of pillar candles at AC Moore for about $.99 a piece and a roll of silver star garland (also usually about $.99 for 25ft). I wrapped a little garland around the base of the candle and for a burn plate, I used a CD--excellent way to dispose of those AOL-type CDs that are always being sent in the mail. I just flipped it over, so the printed part of the CD didn't show and I had a really pretty centerpiece for under $5.
