text only... gift wrap ideas

hey, I'm looking for some creative and unusual ways of wrapping presents. This year my family and I have decided against wrapping our presents traditionally, for fun and to encourage recycling in this awefully over packaged time of the year.
So please, if you have any ideas, or something you do every year, please share.

heres some of my ideas:
-good old news paper comics
-stamping your own paper
-collaging a box
-wrapping in fabric with lots of buttons and ribbon

I'm also wondering how I should go about wrapping this: I bought a bag of Jelly Bellys and, without thinking it would break, tossed it on my carpet. but BAM the bag burst open. So now I'm thinking maybe I should put them in a pill bottle or Jones bottle.
