I went through some boxes of fabric that my mom had packed away and uncovered some great stuff. She said I could have whatever I wanted, so I took a bunch. I especially love the floral pattern. That stuff is just begging me to make a purse out of it. Now the problem is that I've never made a purse before. Can anyone direct me to a pattern that I can buy or a good tutorial for making a purse? I've been through the memories, but didn't find quite what I wanted. I want something that's medium purse size, but with lots of pockets. I don't want a messenger bag. That's too big.

Now my other dilemma is what to do with these pre-quilted fabrics. I think they'd make cute bags too. I especially love the blue elephant fabric. But I'm not sure how I should treat it since it's already quilted. Should I use it as lining or what?

And a new jewelry creation. I was just playing with some wire and leftover beads. I think it looks pretty nice.

My sister had a nice pair of pants that she was planning on donating since she got something on them which created spots on it here and there. So I took the pants and embroidered them to cover up the messed up spots. I think it turned out really well.

I tried beading one of the areas in addition to just embroidering it. I still can't decide which I like better. Just plain embroidery, or the beading added. So I decided to just bead the one flower area that was up by the front zipper.
