photoshop help???
Apr. 6th, 2006 05:23 pmi am completely right brained, and math/computer stuff tends to be waaaay out of my range... i can crop and resize pictures, and that's about it.
BUT! i had this fabulous idea for a craft project for my friend's birthday, and i KNOW there are people in this community who know shit about computers, so... i'm looking for help!
i want to take a picture, size it, and crop it in a circle. that i think must be possible, even if i don't know how.
but then i want to cut a pie shaped wedge out of it, without losing any of the image. so i need it to stretch the image, so that when i put the two pieces together to make it into a cone, the full image is still there. i think only the bottom of the image will need to stretch.
is this possible? is there any way i can do this with adobe photoshop 7? if not, anyone know of a free software that would do it?
if anyone could help me out, i would be extremely appreciative. i promise to post pictures once i'm done! i'm good at following instructions, just terrible at figuring out computers on my own!
or does anyone know of any lj communities that might be able to help me?
thank you!!
