Record bowls
May. 8th, 2006 06:36 pmTried my hand at making record bowls last week, and, if I do say so myself, I think they came out pretty good for a first try. I made them star-shaped.

I need to cover up the label with something, since I didn't realize until after I'd shaped it that the label was upside down. Oops, lol. Suggestions? And what do I use to affix whateveritis to the record?

I want to plug up the hole in this one somehow. I saw in an earlier post that someone suggested resin. Do they sell small bottles of that? And if I wanted to brush it over the label, too, what kind of brush would I use? A regular brush, or something made for resin? And is resin food-safe?
Also, how do you clean record bowls? Hand wash with soap and water?
So many questions! Lol!
