Quilled Shadow Boxes
May. 12th, 2006 12:33 amHere are some quilled shadow boxes I made for myself and a friend for Mother's Day (she's my daughter's Godmother). I found shadow boxes at the dollar store, painted them black, printed each child's full name and birth stats, quilled a design and voila! I haven't done paper quilling in about 8 years - good thing I never throw away anything crafty. LOL.

I did erase the last names for displaying...you know how that goes - so imagine these with last names. LOL. But here are the other three examples. I like the floral/butterfly ones the best. I don't think the train came out that great - my husband liked it the best. But I'm not super happy with it. My son liked it and that's all that matters (but he is only 3). :)

And here is a view in the actual boxes.

I hope my friend likes them!
Thanks for looking.
