any advice?

hello super crafty people. i was hoping maybe you could help me out of a bit of a jam. i'm making a shirt for my friend, and i used fabric paint, and it looked fine in the bottle, but once it dried it was waaaay too sparkly (my friend is a dude...). so i need to figure out some way to kinda hide the sparkle. i don't really want to go over it with a different paint because i'm worried it'll just get too thick and crust off faster. but i guess if that's the only way i can try. so does anyone know of any alternatives?

it looks even more sparkly in person...
