Question for the knitters
Jun. 1st, 2006 11:00 pmFor all the knitters, I have a question. I'm about to start on this pattern and I wanted to clear up something up before I actually get to work. The pattern calls for this:
sk2p: slip one stitch purlwise, knit next two stitches together, pass slipped stitch over
Just want to make sure I have this right. Before I slip the first stitch, do I need to bring the yarn to the front as if I'm purling, then after I slip it put it into the back again so I can knit? Or do I just leave it where it is the whole time or is it something totally different?
There's still a lot I have to learn, but I'm improving every day.
