My mom's birthday is Wednesday, so as part of her gift I made her a diffuser for her beloved lavender oil. (She previously had an oil soaked cotton ball sitting in a paper bowl on her dresser; not classy).
One 99 cent glass jar
two 49 cent thin pieces of wood (cut into varying heights with an exacto knife)
some marbles from her 1000 marbles project
a little of her essential oil
plus 10 minutes of time...
and presto!! A much nicer looking way to gently release the scent of lavender :

Now, I could use a little inspiration...
My family goes through this laughing cow cheese like crazy. I can't bear to see the cute little round boxes
(about 4 inches in diameter) be thrown away.
What would you do with them? I have one that I put my cash in, and I was thinking of decoupageing it with money related images/words.

Also, I take medicine and each month am left with a large pill bottle, about 6" tall and 1.5" in diameter.

Any suggestions on projects for these?
