Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get back into working with polymer and silver clay, and I'm looking for some material to make molds from. I've got the Mold Builder liquid latex rubber stuff for use with resins, etc, but it's not quite what I want for this project, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

I know that Sculpey makes an Elasticlay MoldMaker product, but I've only seen it in one place and it's a bit expensive. Has anyone seen it at Michael's, where I might at least be able to use the 40% off coupon? I looked briefly last time, but I didn't see it there- I don't know if that's just because I'm in Canada or what...

I'm also interested in those silicone mold things where you mix two compounds together and you have a few seconds to minutes before it sets, but I haven't seen it locally. I've done a few searches online, but I haven't been able to find quite what I'm looking for (plus a lot of places charge an arm and a leg to ship to Canada). Has anyone had any experience using these silicone molds, and would you be able to recommend a brand/where to get them?

Thanks!
