Fuzz on Knitting

craftgrrlDoes anyone know how to get ridd of some of that extra fuzz that is on things you have knitted after you are finished with them? Is there a way to block them that gets rid of it? Is is jut because I am too rough on my knitting? Is it the fiber content (obviously the case with cotton because it doesn't fuzz or pill as much). What do you suggest?
