My grandmother had this totally awesome double-knit white and green polkadot fabric. The dress was inspired by Marilyn Monroe/ that gold dress in the new Christina Aguilera video

Total Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! Made from pale blue fabric and white lace. Fully lined to prevent anything from showing

The top- inspired by that blue polkadot one from Urban Outfitters (but I hated the red buttons). Made from the same doubleknit fabric as the first dress. Shorts- my very first shorts-without-pattern experience. Inspired by those Luella @ Target ones, except these do not look terrible on me.

Reverse

Top- Gathered at Top and Bottom. Pants- Made from a vintage McCalls pattern (thank god all the women in my family are the same size!) although I totally ditched the waist, which was supposed to come up to my bellybutton
