Painted shirts posted on craftster as well
Aug. 5th, 2006 01:35 amHere are some shirts I painted with Acrylics. Some with glittery puffy fabric paint. I generally print out the picture I want to make and then cut around it so I can get a general idea of where it'll be on the shirt. Then I free-hand the rest because I often mess up stencils...stupid paint going under the paper (even freezer paper).

I still might add Sir Didymus, Ludo, Hoggle, David Bowie, or Jennifer Connelly to it.

I thought I was super clever taking a relatively popular Tool song (Schism) and making it about tetris because both rock. Plus it was funny for me to picture Maynard James Keenan (the lead singer of Tool) singing that song all frustrated while playing tetris..because the pieces were coming down too fast to make them fit.

On Engrish.com they had a picture of the KFC guy statue, with Uncle Sam written under it. I thought it was hilarious because they do look rather similar..and it's a good statement about what America stands for. lol

And my tie skirt. I added a little end of a tie to complete the waistband because the tie i used to do the waistband ran out. It turned out to look like a fake pocket, so I like it.

My most proud piece. FRAGGLE ROCK! The top picture shows the printed out heads under the row of my painted heads.

and heres without the pictures to compare, its a bit blurry.
