The photo above is a shot of my crazy veil and the "tuxedo" t-shirt that I made for my "groom" for a party we were going to. To preface, a friend of ours has made a tradition of having a white-trashy party every year for his birthday, as an excuse for us all to dress up and be silly and indulge shamelessly in the ingestion of cardio-tastic foods. This is all meant in fun. :)
A better pic of my groom's tee. He augmented it with a trucker cap, thrift-store denim shorts, and flip-flops:

A shot of most of the front of the dress, which is pretty shapeless before my cleavage gets in there to fill it out. This dress ended up being sooo comfortable:

Trains are fun--especially after lots of trash-can punch and various clumsy attempts to keep from dunking it into the toilet accidentally:

A close-up of the flowers on the veil and train. I found these fake rose petals on clearance for $2.00 at JoAnn's with the irridescent sequins already on them and just safety-pinned them together into flowers and glued crystals in the middle:

It's good to have minimal sleeves when you're crammed into a hot kitchen with a bunch of your closest friends. The bows have sparkly crystals in the middle of them, too:

Everything used to make this dress, except for the ultra-white new lace trim and the tulle was already lying around my apartment. I wasn't really all that concerned if any of it matched, so long as it was close:

My fantabulous bouquet, full of irridescent bag-filler strings, violently bright flowers, and extra tulle. My favorite part is the hanging ribbons with the crystal-dotted rose petals on them:

One last photo, of everything coming together. We were a big, big hit! Even better, though, were my friends who came as the Federlines, complete with their "baby" that was actually a bag of Cheetos Puffs duct-taped into a cloth diaper. SO hilarious!
