A co-worker of mine had her birthday yesterday. She is a HUGE John Lennon fan, (has a tattoo of one of his drawings on her leg) so I wanted to do something using his image. I found this painting online http://www.beatles-popart.com/beatles-images/bigJohnbigD.jpg of a popart piece and thought I'd give it a try.


I am NOT a skilled painter by any means! And I couldn't get the hair right or the special details. But I'm still happy with the way it turned out. I gave it to her yesterday and she actually got goosebumps (she showed me her arm) as soon as she unwrapped it! So I guess she liked it a lot!

I switched the colors around cuz I had more purple :p
