another project i completed a while back

kimono with ironed on butterflies...

the crafty part was 'applique-ing' the butterflies.
that was quite difficult.

i tried to 'copy' these butterflies as one day i will make a waist cincher to wear over the kimono.

oh, yeah...it folds over the way a funeral kimono would.
hehe. i knew that, had forgotten and made it that way anyhow.
mayhaps it's a funeral kimono for a very important lady  :)

if you look at teh kimono while being worn, the butterflies swirl around from the bottom back to
the front.
