Medusa

Hello all,

I'm getting started on my Medusa costume for halloween and I wonder if I might get some thoughts, opinions, whathaveyou. I bought a long rastafarian wig from target, and I've wired up a few of the dreads as a start. the plan is to do them all and somehow make them look like snakes.


I've thought of using paper mache to make heads, and then slicking down the hair so its less...well...hairy. Anyone have any better ideas? I've also gotten some smaller snakes to weave in here and there for a layered look/ bangs/something. This is clearly a work in progress...just thought I would get the opinions of some other crafty folks before I get too far!



you can see the wires, but I will be camouflaging them later...somehow :p
