me and the boy decided to go as saints. so we picked them and then dressed like them. i made the awesome halos ala byzantine paintings.




Saint Maria Goretti


Maria Goretti was a young girl who lived on her family farm. she loved god and proved so quite quickly in her life. when she was 11, a 19 year old farmhand attacked and raped her, stabbing her multiple times. she lived 2 days in the hospital and before she died, she forgave her attacker and asked god to forgive him as well.

the first martyr of scotland, he was attacked by pirates who cut off his arm and let him bleed to death.
