Nov. 1st, 2006 10:29 pmalright crafty ladies, i need your help. i go to college and i am the "recycling coordinator" for my dorm hall. basically, i am in charge of this little room where everyone brings their recycleables. there are little bins and signs above them saying the following things: paper/cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum metal. i need to make these signs over again so that they're creative and they can be used for years to come. i want them to grab everyone's attention, but i am sort of stuck for ideas. ideally, i'd like this to be on paper or cardboard of some sort that can be laminated, but i'm up for ideas.
can you ladies help me think of creative ways to make these signs? right now, it's a piece of white paper wiht a glass bottle and "glass" written on them. i was thinking that maybe i could make the signs in the shape of what needs to be recycled, like a huge glass bottle with "GLASS" written on it or possibly decoupaging [sp?] "glass" wiht letters from magazines and things [you know, because the letters would be recycled].
thank you so much!
