knitting help please?
Nov. 3rd, 2006 07:34 pmi'm trying to make the ropes and ladders scarf that someone else made and posted pictures of earlier (pattern found here: http://pieknits.com/pattern2.html) but i'm having trouble with a few of the stitches, the ones in the pattern notes: "C3B" "C3F" and "C5".
the way i see it, i slide the stitch from my left needle to my right, knit or purl the required stitches from the left, then slide them all back onto the left needle until i reach the first slipped stich, and knit or purl it. after which i would then slide all these stiches back onto the right and continue on with the pattern? is that correct?
and just so its not text only....here are the obligatory halloween pictures: jasmine, cinderella and a pirate!

all three costumes were made from scratch. and i now have a new profound respect for seamstresses. =) thanks for all your suggestions to my earlier questions about jasmine's jewellry. i ended up buying colored glass stones things from michaels (the kind you put into vases and fishbowls) and using crayola model magic covered in shiny gold spandexy cloth to create the 'setting' for the jewels....and just craft foam sheets cut and covered in cloth for the necklace and earrings. thanks again! your suggestions were great and i really liked how everything turned out, especially for my first ever sewing project!
