Hello! I'm a first time poster. I'm looking forward to learning and being inspired by everyone here.

I do a lot of garment sewing for myself. For the second year in a row I'll be participating in this SWAP Contest. It's a lot of fun and a great way to expand your wardrobe. Plus, all the ladies that participate are very nice and helpful and supportive. My last SWAP and all the participants. And some other recent sewing.

I just got started on Christmas presents. I'm taking scraps of tweed and some other fabrics, fringing the edges, and making scarves and wraps (idea from Martha Stewart). I'd also like to make silk flower pins for holding them in place and lavender sachets so they'll smell nice while they're being wrapped up and shipped.

I'm also planning my wedding for June 2007. I've got my ideas all set but haven't started making anything yet. There will be many favors and centerpieces made by me. I have a busy winter ahead. :)
