Button/pin makers!

Now...I love buttons. My purse is probably semi bullet proof due to the amount of pins on it o.o

So what with x-mas coming up and my mother asking incessantly about what I want....I've asked for a button maker...I'll probably be ordering the thing off the internet since my parent no nothing of button makers
however I have noooooo idea what to get
I want something that would make 1 to 1.5" pins....not in large quantities either...just for me and for gifts...soooo

suggestions?
