okay, i forget if it's been asked (specifically by me, but i couldn't find any record in the memories so i hope not!), but i'm about to do my first load of laundry purely by hand (i'm too poor for the laundromat and our laundry room closed just recently.), and i remember something a friend of mine once told me about making patchouli scented laundry. i haven't talked to her in a while so i can't ask her. it doesn't necessarily have to smell like patchouli, but i was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on making my laundry scented? i have some scented bath oil, but i'm worried that even a drop or two of that would ruin my clothes (they're just wash 'n wear for the most part.)

any suggestions before i attempt this experiment? thanks girls and boys!
