Hello all. Happy Holidays to you all.
I just finished up assistant directing a production of Little Women. I really wanted to give them all something but didn't have a lot of money or time to shop. Our scripts had to be shredded after the production as part of our contract, so I decided to use the shredded bits.

I went through and cut out about 7-9 lines for each actor that I particularly liked how they delivered it. I curled them and placed them in the balls along with some curling ribbbon.
Then, I got some of the fake stained glass leaded paint and used it to write on the ornaments the name of the play and the character's name that the actor played. Or in my case-Asst. Director. My ball is a little fuller than the actors because I pulled lines from all 11 of them. I made 20 ornaments in all.
They were very popular gifts and many of the actors pulled the ornament apart to see what lines I chose. Good thing I didn't put in glitter like I thought about. The lettering looks flat where it was lying against the glass of my scanner, but it has since poofed out again.
