Felt Baby Book
Dec. 26th, 2006 04:57 pmpopular this season....
I made this for my niece, Izabell. My sewing machine messed up the night before xmas so I couldn't do as much as I wanted and had to finish the front and back cover. eek. So I just did what I could. and used my friend's mom's machine to sew the pages together.
and I wanted to use the tags as page turners but forgot to sew them in and ran out of time. so I put them all on the front page, I hear babies really like those things.

I for Icecream

Z for Zombie, Zipper, and ZigZag. You unzip it and there is a zombie underneath. (haha good thing my brother doesn't go for typical baby crap. we both like zombies, may as well start 'em young!)

A for Artichoke

B for Butterfly. not my first choice but Izabell's bedroom is decorated in butterfly stuff. The wings are crinkly when you touch grab them.

E for Electric Eel
the tail end half of the eel is not sewn down so she can play with it.

L for Lamb.
I thought it'd add extra texture, so I knitted the shape of the lamb.

L for Leaf and Ladybug
the wings aren't all the way attached and they also have crinkly stuff in them as well.

my really bad embroidery.

that's it. thanks.
