Has anyone else attempted to make this? If you have, what were your results?

I used the 'cook' method that I found several places on the internet (1 1/2 C lint, 1 C water, 1/2 C flour, 2 drops oil - simmer on low heat) and I have to say...

ewwwwwwwwwwww...

Perhaps this only works is you are bald (no offense, my hubby is!)and do not have pets. I have long hair and live with an Australian Shed Hound. And even though I picked through my lint trying to find the least hairy bits, what I ended up with was something that looked and felt like I had pulled it out of a blocked drain. I'm not the least bit squeamish, but that was just icky.

There's a non-cook method that used white glue, but I'm guessing my results will be just as bad that way.

I guess I will have to find other things to do with my lint - any other suggestions?
