It's been awhile
Jan. 18th, 2007 03:02 pmThis is the first project I've completed in awhile that's been worth sharing: a variation on the "In Bloom" bag from Happy Hooker done in an avocado acrylic yarn, lined with some really great flower print fabric and embellished with a polka-dot ribbon. I'm contemplating making some sort of flower (fabric or crochet) or a crochet medallion of some sort to put over the knot, but I kind of like the simplicity of it now. Perhaps I'll make it a pin that I can take on and off?

My cat did her best to help in this endevor, which mainly involved batting and biting at my crochet hook, fiddling with my yarn, and trying to eat the thread I was using to sew the lining! Thankfully she's too cute to be mad at!
