my cousin just had a baby (asdfjkl;!), and i want to make her (the baby) something special. i've never really done something like this before, so i need ideas.

the baby's name is lily grace, if that helps at all... ummm, ideas? i'm not good at crochet, and i can't knit, so those are OUT. but i'm okay at sewing.
