Hey there! This is my first post around here, so I wanted to say hi and post three of my more recent projects. The first is a chaplet (kind of like a mini rosary) made for my mom, and the second is a pillowcase. It may be one of the simplest things to sew, but I've never used a sewing machine before this, so I'm very proud. I also am completely in love with the fabric, and have similar fabric in a different color waiting to be turned into another pillowcase. Finally I have a little embroidery sampler I'm working on. I bought "Sublime Stitching" by Jenny Hart, and am using a tea towel that came in her "Stitch It" kit to practice on. When I get good enough, I have a whole line-up of stuff to embroider.
First up, the chaplet:

Next, the pillowcase:

I swear, when I finished it, I felt like running outside, holding it over my head, hollering, "I made this, I made this! Look!" I don't think other people would be as excited as I was though.
And finally, the tea towel-sampler thing (with a close-up of the pillowcase):

Thanks for looking!
