My first t-shirt surgeries and...
Jun. 25th, 2007 12:02 ammy first corset, and a teaser of my current pride and joy, a skirt I will call "Jason." Comments and criticisms are welcome.
In particular, I'm having trouble retaining the stretchiness of the t-shirt when I finish the edges. The halter was finished w/ homemade plaid bias tape...it *really* warped, hence the gathered back. The panties were cut to fit like the blue ones, and when they're on, they look ok, but they're just a hair looser than I like. The leg holes were finished with the hem from the original shirt, of which I forgot to take pictures. Thoughts?

The original pattern

The saggy but cute finished product - and once they're on, they look ok....

This actually fits much better after I washed it...I'm still curious about the bias tape. Could it be because I used a straight stitch?
