Jun. 30th, 2007 06:23 pmOkay, I know it isn't Easter or even close, but I had to share this link I found.
I was just going through my craft supplies for an upcoming yard sale, and I came across a bag of about 20 silk ties I had collected at other yard sales a long time ago. I was about to bag them up for the sale when I decided to Google crafts with silk ties, just in case I really DIDN'T want to throw them out (obviously I'm having a hard time cutting ties with my stuff. HAR. Puns! Yay!)
So I found this link (with a video!) on Martha's website about transferring the dyes and patterns from the ties to EASTER EGGS! It looks so easy, and the results are stunning. I can't wait to try this technique - I may not be able to wait until Easter!
