First I just have to say that all of you are an amazing bunch of creative people who have totally inspired me. Thanks to everyone who posts.

Okay, so for my first post, this may be not the most original or creative, but I wanted to make a thank you gift for some friends who invited us to use their Tahoe cabin this weekend. I made some little tea towels using flour sack cloth, freezerpaper stencils, a little embroidery, and some rickrack/dingleballs. I think they came out nice and I'm not embarrassed to give them.

Here they are. I used the white dingleballs on the one with the crows to represent bird poop (I know, how mature!!!). The blossoms I did with two colors and then I used some embroidery to make the centers of the blossoms.

Oh, and I took pictures of most of the stenciling process so I could show my friends how to do it with a little tutorial. I think there are plenty of tutorials online about how to do this so I don't want to post another if that's overkill. But if enough people say they want it, I'll do it.
