I can't remember when I last posted here, but it's been a while. Here's what I've been up to in the last month, ish:

These hairpieces have been incredibly popular! So I made one with amber and jet, finally using a loose jet cabochon I've had for a few years.

And I had a customer buy one necklace recently, who then promptly commissioned this:

to match. Made with lapis all around - and she bought some lapis beads to make matching earrings, as she's getting into wire work herself. :)

In less hairpiece-y news, my partner's mother (who lives near the ocean) gave me a number of small sea things, which I, of course, had to make into a necklace.

She gave me the spiky thing in the center (cartilage spiny vertebra thing!), the pointy seashell in the upper middle, and the opal. I had the saltwater pearl kicking around from a trip to Disneyworld years ago, and the other shells are from an island off the coast of Galway in Ireland. This necklace is pretty loaded with meaning for me, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Then there's this necklace, which I just finished today:

And I recently cut the feathers off of this choker:

Because it seemed less appealing with small feathers dangling down. I may add them back eventually...but in the meantime, I'm actually kind of liking the way it looks now. Labradorite deserves to catch one's eye without competition! :)

Hmm. And there's probably more to share, but right now I can't think of anything to add. I've been using more in the way of "things I've had hanging around for a while" lately, and hope to continue doing that as soon as I've acquired more silver wire. :) Mwahahahaha.
