Nesting...
Oct. 4th, 2007 07:25 pmI started knitting a set of hats for my soon to be expanding family. Its turning out too cute...

My baby is due on Oct. 28th, but I am already 4cm dilated so we'll see how long he hangs in there. The yarn is SWS of course in natural denim. I didn't follow any patterns or swatch at all. If the baby's hat is too big I will just pick up some stitches inside the brim and make some chin straps. If it is too small he can have mine. Ha. The cabled hat is for me. Both have already been washed and blocked. The one on the needles is going to be a spiral ribbed longish pointy cap for my husband... maybe with a tassle or pom-pom. The weather has still been in the high 80's here in VA so we might not get to wear them until November. **crosses fingers**
