A halloween craft :D

I found one of those little 99 cent cross stitch projects at a WalMart last Halloween, I couldn't for the life of me get it to look nice, I ended up buying two, thinking, "Oh! I'll figure it out later". Well I've been dying to have something crafty to work on in between classes and I'm a little burned out of knitting, so I dug this out again!
I ended up using a way larger Aida cloth than it came with and I switched the colors around a little and left out the french knots for the bats eyes. I also used a metallic black floss for the outlines and I HATED IT!!! It was such a difficult little thread to use, it snags, snaps, arghh, just a general pain and I honestly don't even think you can see the difference. :C

Here it is in the bright sunlight with my pumpkins!

Here's a close up!!! I had a bit of a hard time taking a closeup because my house is ALL windows and the glare was awful :D There's also a little spot where the metallic thread isn't laying flat...
I got a really neat little book, "365 Tiny Cross Stitch Designs", if anyone in the community likes little small cross stitches, I suggest thing one. I started an avocado and an oak leaf.
:D
Thanks for looking!
