craftgrrlMy dad's friend gave me this extra fabric she had from when she was making drapes. I turned it into my homecoming dress, totally Sound of Music style.
This is the back. My tennis tanlines are insane.

HOKAY now for the Super Awesome Birthday Gift! My boyfriend turned 17 yesterday and I made him a quilt of one of his favorite things ever. This is my first quilt ever and I'd say it turned out pretty good. The applique and back are fleece and the top is that generic cotton stuff you find in the "Quilting" aisle. I really liked the contrasting textures and it is SOOO warm.

Yay! I'm giving it to him tomorrow :-)
