The Queen Bee
Oct. 26th, 2007 12:37 amHello my crafty comrads. ^_^
I've been working painfully long hours on my Halloween costume. Seriously. This thing has given me alot of grief.
But...I finished it. And I am quite happy with it. ^_^

So the costume was a plain old yellow t-shirt I reconstructed for the Etsy costume contest. My sewing machine that has always given me problems broke in the process of making this...so I went out and bought a new one. Ha. Take that old sewing machine.
The wings are wire and some leftover curtain shears. And a ribbon bow. ^_^
The antenne are a headband and some leftover beads from the necklace.
The earrings were meant to have dangles...but I liked them the way they were so I left them.
Socks came from Hot Topic. Alittle dye and the white stripes are now yellow.
And the staff is a dowel rod with super sculpty peices I did on top. Paint and sparkle mod podge and poof...the queen bee staff.
Tell me what you think. ^_^
