So, for those of you who know or gave me ideas of my Halloween prop, my boyfriend and I went as Jack the Ripper and a dead prostitute... complete with fake uterus.

The costumes took about a month total to do, including his top hat, which I had to make 2 of because the first one came out crappy and too small. Also, the second one I tried to make shorter because I didn't like the tall top hat look on him, but he did, and it really wasn't a lot shorter than I had wanted. Oh well haha. The petticoat had blood running down it too, and I got a pic but it's still stuck on my mum's camera at the moment. The skirt had blood on it too (to resemble where my uterus would have been cut out) but it was basically the same colour as the skirt so you can't see it.

The uterus was made out of red gel candle stuff, poured into a mold resembling a stomach but kinda looked like a uterus if you used your imagination.

The slit throat looked wicked real, too, and we had lots of fun trying to get the blood to run properly... part of the process involved me standing topless in the bathtub with blood dripping down my torso as my bf used my hair dryer to get it to dry quicker. It was really odd... lol!
