Soapy soap

Oh, hey guys. I just jumped on the band wagon and made some 'fake' soap.
I have a few questions though. What can I go to make it stop smelling so glycerine - y? Oh my goodness, that smell makes me gag! I've been putting scent in - sometimes up to 15 drops per cup! It's still there! What can I do!?
Also - I'd like some different scents and I'm not finding the ones I want at Michaels. Can I use 'essential oils' to scent the soap? I'm talking about the oils you buy to put into a little burner above a tealite and it makes your place smell awesome. Would this be harmful to the skin?
Last question - how do you think I should package these soaps?
Well - onward...

Here they are. The big block will eventually be sliced into smaller chunks. I used the lid of a butter dish as a mold. The scalloped ones were tart molds and the round one was a yogurt cup.

This is 'candycane' soap. It's scented with mint.

This is my lavender soap. It has lavender earl grey tea that I had lying around and lavender scent in ti. It used to be a nice color but now it's just brown because the teat leached its color out.

This one is honey-cinnamon. It smells the best and I didn't even add any scent!

Thanks for looking.
