Hi! Two posts in a week!
With my sewing machine I can only make two things. Saddle pads and ferret hammocks.
This time I'll post some of my ferret creations.
I make 'em for this fellow.

Lots of things behind the cut.

These will be from oldest to newest I guess.
The green and orange hammock to the left is my first ever hammock. It's made out of super flimsy fleece. So it stretched out really fast. After getting a huge cage I got all inspired to make things for it.

Then I made a tiny Toad size hammock. Wasn't too great with the eyelets yet.

He stores toys in it now.
I am not real sure what this is. I really liked the fabric. It's a bunk bed hammock I guess?

Then I tried to make a sleepy sack. It didn't work out so well.

Before I really figured out how to use eyelets. More cheap fabric that I liked.

ugotogal sent me this awesome colorful stuff. Of course I made more ferret stuff.
A blanket, pillow and a hammock.
Once I got to this point I'd made some saddle pads and was a bit more comfortable with what I was doing. So now all my hammocks and blankets and stuff have a few layers of quilting batting between them to make 'em all plush and extra cozy.

Then the other day I found this cool stripey fabric for a dollar a yard. I got six yards of it.

The frog bed is from
ugotogal.
It's kind of like a trampoline!

Then today I found this cute whale fabric. I wanted to make a cube for the ferrets to play in. It ended up being WORLDS too big. Next time I know, SMALLER squares. Jeesh it's like puppy size.
Oy, so big. lol.

Takes up the whole bottom of the cage near about!

Don't mind Toad's horrible red eye!

No matter how much I mess something up he'll always humor me and play with it.
Then I made a small ferret size bed. The little tab sticking out is so I can add a hook to it. Hook it to the side of t he cage of they'll drag it all over the place and make me insane.

Roland liked it.

T too.

Lastly. Roland helping me sew a saddle pad that's a gift for a friend.

I know, big woop. She sews squares and squares over and over. I'm sewing impaired. These are like huge accomplishments for me, lol. I've had the machine sine last Christmas and I've done more with it in this last two weeks than I have the whole year.
I started an "Art Hoodie" too but I will wait till it's further along before I post it.
THE END
