Photo question
Jan. 2nd, 2008 09:09 pmHello everyone!
I have a question that some of you here may be able to help me with. I am trying to figure out the best way to photograph my jewelry. I set up a little photo station at home, using some full spectrum light bulbs and a couple spot lamps. I have heard that it's good to diffuse the light from the lamps, but I'm not sure the best way to do this. Should I cut up some milk jugs or use certain kinds of filters or what? I've been experimenting with different backgrounds and different light positions and making a little progress, but I feel like I'm missing something.
Does anyone have any advice the help get a clear, acurate color, sharp photo of jewelry? I use sterling silver and lots of gemstones and crystals btw.
Thanks!!
