Recently, in the world of Corvus...

I figured I'd give all you wonderful people a neat little look at some of the more recent things to appear on my humble craftblog home.
Birdsong
I just couldn't resist when I stumbled across the beads (at JoAnns). This also got the blue-painted-porcelain theme stuck in my head, which played out into a necklace-and-earring set posted to my blog here.

I made this thing out of polymer clay as a way of studying for a Human Gross Anatomy exam last semester. Everything on there (and a few things which aren't), I can name to this day. I had the human heart down by the time I got into that exam.
Now I've just got to figure out what to do with my, err, study aide.
Something Like Sunshine
Close-up
This (and another similar bracelet, which is posted somewhere in my blog) was an experiment in a style I plan to take much, much further than a simple bracelet. I just hooked a bunch of tiger tail wires up to the findings and then wove them in and out of a bunch of beads. Does that make sense? Like braiding, only even simpler. Oh, the possibilities.
For me? How sweet!
These are fun and easy to make. You'll need a) a straight comb, b) cool beads and c) wire. Put beads on wire, wrap around comb, and presto! I've made a bunch of them before, but this is the first one I plan to keep for myself. Maybe.
Trendy
Last but not least! You know a trend is played out in the craft world when it pops up at Michaels. So it is with owls and little birds, particularly little birds with the resemblance to tattoo flash this centerpiece has. Luckily, I've always taken the view that NOT liking something only because it's trendy is no better nor more unique and individual than liking something only because its trendy, and thus you get little birds and an owl today. I like birds. They're extant therapods.
Why yes, I am a nerd. Thank you!
And hey, while I'm playing with trends, why not make my first asymmetical necklace?
Don't Need Your Symmetry
Thank you for your attention, I hope you liked what you saw, feel free to stay tuned if you did, etc etc.
