Last week I made a neck wrap.
I took some basic blue fabric (wanted to use fleece, but wasn't sure how well it would microwave), 3 lbs worth of dry beans, rice and flax seeds as well as a little scented oil (peppermint and lavender) and threw it all together. At the last minute, after all my pinning was done, I decided to add a little trim.
stargazercrys had sent me some supplies a few months ago and this adorable penquin trim was in it. So, I added it. There wasn't enough to go all around it, but I still like it.

It's kind of ironic... it looks like a nice cold scene, the penquins in some water, and then I toss it all in the microwave and wrap it around me and I'm toasty warm as well as getting relief from my tension headaches and bad posture.
Because of the flimsy fabric, it doesn't really sit on my neck as much as it does on my shoulders, but I gotta tell you... it feels GOOD.
