Converting patterns

Hello. I've been crocheting for a few months now, and I've pretty much gotten the hang of it. I came across this pattern: http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/ktr-triangleShawl.html that I wanted to try out, but the problem is it's a knitting pattern. :| Can somebody help me convert this pattern to a crochet pattern (if it's possible)?
